10 Places to Visit in New York When Travelling with Babies
Having a baby is a joyful yet challenging time for your family. However, don’t let this momentous point of your life hinder you from doing things that you love such as traveling. Based on personal experience as a New Yorker, tons of places can be fun and safe when traveling with babies.
Take New York City for example. The “Big Apple” is riddled with tourist destinations you can go to with your baby in hand. Whether you are traveling with your baby on a stroller or a sling carrier, these places are guaranteed safe for your child and fun for the whole family.
- New York Central Park
New York’s famous park has lots of activities for your young ones. Aside from its relaxing atmosphere, the park has lots of expanse especially in the Great Lawn and Sheep Meadow. The park also has water features, sandboxes, swings and playgrounds.
- The Bronx Zoo
Who doesn’t want to see different species of animals? Your kids will surely enjoy their time in this massive zoo where they can even get up-close and personal with some farm animals. It’s definitely one of the best places to visit with kids NYC style!
- Brooklyn Bridge Park

Museums are one of the best educational and fun places you can expose your children to. This New York museum is child-friendly and hosts up to five floors worth of learning. Admission is also free and occasionally hosts family programs.
