Who is the founder and CEO of Moto Nation?
Nelson is a Guyanese entrepreneur who, at 5, emigrated with his family to Queens, New York. He has lived a life of triumph and trials; his most significant moment was getting hit by a moving express subway train at age 13. Nelson miraculously survived after surgeons permanently removed the top part of his skull. Having lost all memory before that day, he has only looked forward since, unapologetically living his life aloud (as seen in Nelson's eccentric color choices with his hair and attire).
Nelson studied cultural anthropology in college and loved meeting the world as an NYC yellow taxicab and Uber driver. Nelson started Kidmoto in 2016 with a dream, $600 to his name, and a relentless passion to succeed. He worked hard to grow Kidmoto into a national company, and then He started MOTO NATION in 2023 as the leading brand behind KIDMOTO, BUSMOTO, and BABYMOTO. Nelson is A natural-born hustler, survivor, and fighter who continues to innovate.
MOTO NATION apps serve niche and underserved consumer segments across America's vast transportation markets. Different consumers have unique transportation requirements and needs.
