Best Time for Family Vacation at Orlando Parks

Magic kingdoms and future worlds are more than enough reasons for anyone to visit the Disney World in Orlando. In there, you have the option to be in an area characterized by wilderness or you can go straight to the center of Disney Animation. Indeed, there is so much to do in this make-believe world that has attracted millions of people over the years. But as to what activities to do in Orlando, you will never run out of ideas. It’s more of a question about when you can go for a great and enjoyable trip in the theme park capital of the world.

Orlando Parks

This year, just like the past ones, is a good year to visit these popular parks in Orlando. But when in 2019 is it best to be there?

THE ONE, BIGGEST FACTOR OF THEM ALL – CROWD

There is only one thing that can hinder you from enjoying the time of your life in Disney World in Orlando, and that is the crowd. Imagine yourself getting in line for several minutes and then waiting for your turn, again, to get a chance to do whatever it is that you want.  It will ultimately ruin the moment for you. That’s the reason why you need to consider crowd volume when you plan a visit to tourist destinations such as the Disney World in Orlando.

THE BEST TIME TO GO SO FAR

  1. August 16 – 31, 2019 (second half of August)
  2. Most days in September
  3. Most weekdays in October
  4. Weekdays in November except the week of Thanks Giving
  5. Weekdays in December except the week of Christmas and New Year’s Eve

These are so far the best times to visit the Disney World and other theme parks in Orlando if you want to enjoy all sights and attractions with minimal crowd interference. Keep in mind that such theme parks are highly popular places so technically there will always be crowd. But as per experiences of frequenters there, the above-mentioned dates are the times when people there are lesser in number.

To offer some explanations, history dictates that September is a very good month to visit Disney, or any theme park for that matter, because kids have already returned to school. That’s why going on most days of September is highly advisable. One little thing to keep in mind is that this month is the peak of Orlando’s rainy season. You should prepare for it.

THE WORST TIMES FOR A VISIT

  1. January 1-6 and January 17-21
  2. February 15-24
  3. March 21 – April 7 and April 20 – 27
  4. Weekends in May
  5. June
  6. July
  7. August 1 – 15 (first half of the month)
  8. The week of Thanks Giving
  9. The week of Christmas through the week of New Year

According to some of the tested crowd calendars online, elevated crowds are sure to be observed on these dates so it would be wise to avoid scheduling visits these dates.

ARE CROWD CALENDARS RELIABLE?

As they are based on experiences of tourists and visitors, it is safe to say that it can be used as a guide to set a perfect schedule of visiting the famed Disney World and other popular theme parks in Orlando
