Visiting Orlando with your entire family will surely be a trip worth making, considering how many attractions are packed in the city. In fact, new ones just opened, which meant more opportunities for even bigger and more thrilling rides. As the theme park central of the world, Orlando never disappoints. It has delivered faster and further rides that will quench the thirst of all the daredevils and fun-seekers out there, both young and old.

Since 2018, Orlando has become home to standout rides and great experiences. If you’re going on a family vacation to escape the trivial and experience something unique and memorable, this is the city to be in now. You can mix and match the rides, depending on your appetite for adrenaline rush and your definition of fun. From the kids to the young at heart, Orlando is the place to be. If you’ve visited the place before, here are 10 new reasons to come back and visit:

1. Fast & Furious – Supercharged

The Universal Studios launched this ride in 2018. It is a high-speed 2D attraction inspired by the American media franchise about illegal street car racing. Don’t be surprised! Dom’s Dodge Charger will greet you right out front as you approach the thrilling attraction at the Universal Studios Florida. This should be enough to get you immersed in the movie, preparing your mind for an exciting adventure ahead of you. Once you enter the attraction, you will be welcomed by more authentic replicas of the cars and props used in the movie, all parked inside the perfect replica of the warehouse headquarters of “the family.” And brace yourself for the ride that exceeds 120 miles per hour and makes you feel like you’re truly a part of the high-stakes chase involving fast cars and crime cartels.

2. Toy Story Land

If you’ve loved Toy Story as a child, or even as an adult, experience it once more with your kids this time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando. Meet Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie in person. Embrace the ambiance similar to that seen in the Toy Story movies and pile up the excitement with its two new rides – the Slinky Dog Dash and the Alien Swirling Saucers – and the park’s Toy Story Mania! attraction, among others. The whole time you’re there, you’d feel like you’re the size of a toy, giving you the perspective of what it’s like to be one of the Toy Story characters.

3. Infinity Falls

Come to SeaWorld Orlando to experience what it’s like to get on a raft ride on a jungle river while passing through what’s left of an ancient civilization. Hold your breath and get ready to get wet for the 40-foot waterfall drop at the end! Throughout the ride, you’ll also get informative lectures on conservation.

4. The Great LEGO Race

Make your kids’ LEGO dreams come true with this new attraction at LEGOLAND Florida Resort. You will wear virtual reality (VR) headsets, where you will see yourself in a race with LEGO characters in a world made of LEGO bricks. This isn’t just for kids. Adults love this roller coaster ride, too!

5. Orlando StarFlyer

Go to ICON Park on International Drive and prepare yourself from a dizzying yet exciting swing ride that will get you 450 feet up in the air. This makes this ride 50 feet higher than The Wheel observation wheel located nearby. Be prepared for a gust of wind as the ride speeds up to 60 mph before getting to a stop. Despite how scared you are, don’t forget to take a look around you and enjoy the 360-degree view that the ride offers. The scenic view should make the entire ride worth a try.

6. Nona Adventure Park

This watersports park opened in 2018. It is a must-visit if you have kids, and even adults, who love water adventures involving an inflatable floating obstacle course, a 60-foot climbing tower combined with a ropes course, and a wakeboard getting pulled along by cables. It derived its name from its location in Orlando’s Lake Nona.

With the Aqua Park, you can even start a race with friends thanks to its two identical tracks set in the middle of the water course. It should be noted, though, that only kids ages 5 and up can play in the water obstacle course.

The Climbing Tower is perfect for those who want to test their tenacity against heights. It also has a few obstacles, such as a Jungle Trail, Tilting Boards, Wobble Bridge, and Caterpillar, which make the climb even more of a challenge.

7. Ray Rush

If your family loves sliding and splashing with water, Ray Rush should be in your list of places to visit. Located at SeaWorld’s Waterpark, this attraction has wild water jets and a water sphere that swoops in to become manta wings. Your ride will travel through enclosed tubes and spheres encased in transparent materials that make the adventure even more thrilling.

8. Drive Shack

For the golf lovers out there, this would be a good stop for you.  You can choose between a game where you can save a princess and another one where there will be a race to 21. During the game, you’ll also have access to the gourmet food and drinks. It’s only a 20-minute drive from the Orlando International Airport, so if you want to go straight to having fun, it’s possible to do this with Drive Shack.

9. Justice League at Madame Tussauds Orlando

If anyone in the family idolizes the Justice League characters, this stop would be worth including in your Orlando itinerary. You’ll see the likeness of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Superman (Henry Cavill) at Madame Tussauds at ICON Park.

10. Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration

Relive your movie memories through this ride, which you can best visit at night as it features light, water, and music – an amazingly fun combination. This attraction showcases elements from hits like Despicable Me, Fast & Furious, and Jurassic World.

Now, you have 10 new attractions to keep in mind while making your Orlando itinerary. It’s time to move on to arrange your transportation from the airport to at least your hotel.
